What's Happening at MFY?

We are always looking for ways to connect with our community and provide the products and services you want! We hope this page helps keep you informed of all the fun, new and exciting things happening at MFY!
Trunk shows are an opportunity to see and feel products you may not be familiar with. We often have the opportunity to display project samples made from the featured products as well!
We do not have any trunk shows scheduled for the month of February, but there are always amazing samples in the store and we highly recommend taking time to browse, squish and enjoy them!
Make Your Pet a Sweater Make Along!
We are excited to be hosting our first MAL of 2023 throughout the month of February! Kicking off on February 1st, we are going to make that extra special family member the sweater they so deserve!
More information on the make along, the patterns we are using, yarn recommendations, tutorial suggestions and more can be found on our MAL page. Joining in on the fun? We will have activity on our Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as our new, private MAL Facebook group!
We have a lot happening during a short month! Check back often for new events and community happenings!
Cascade Yarns Special Events
Shannon Dunbabin, co-owner of Cascade Yarns, will be at the shop on Saturday, February 4th for a yarn tasting and color theory workshop! There will be five new-to-MFY yarns that we'd love your feedback on and Shannon is a master of color! Spaces are limited so reserve your seat for one or both of the events HERE!
Learn more about Cascade Yarns and the five yarns we'll be at the tasting in our Stash Dive: Cascade Yarns feature.
New Classes and Workshops!
Check out all of our upcoming class and workshop offerings listed below or HERE where you can also sign up for one - or all! - of the sessions you're interested in!
The shop is overflowing with wonderful yarns, tools, patterns, kits, notions and more, and we are constantly working on adding new items to our online presence as well!
Malabrigo Mohair
If you are looking to add just a touch of warmth to your projects, Mohair is a great choice and if you pair the colors just right, you will find the most unique marled fabric. From texture, airiness, and depth of color, this is the base you never knew you needed but won’t be able to live without!
We also love that this product is ethically sourced from a bio-diversity-friendly mill!
