I was looking for a natural organic wool yarn to combine with some wool my daughter and I took from sheep to skein. This was a great choice for the main color in the sweater. I have often thought about ordering this yarn, but had not done so. I am really happy with the yarn as I knit a color work sweater with Patagonia and the homespun yarn. I will be looking at other colors for future projects.

I bought the Patagonia Organic merino DK because it was lots of yards for the money. I have used the yarn Moonshine before and it was a great value so I went for it. I have not started to knit yet, as it has just arrived, but I plan on using it for Mowry’s Metamorphic sweater with Spincycle’s DITW (as seen in pic). The yarn seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I’ve learned if yarn is scratchy at first to soak it during the block in a little hair conditioner with the soap.

Mich Fine Yarns service was excellent. I received my order very quickly and everything was packaged securely. Five stars for service! The skein was broken in at least six places. This appears to be a manufacturing fault, not the store's fault. It was still useable for my project, and the yarn itself is very pleasant to hold and work with - a soft, squishy wool with minimal itch.
