You've been hearing about it, so we'd love to introduce you to Tunisian crochet! Tunisian crochet lives between knitting and crochet, so everyone's invited to learn something new! In this 90-minute workshop we will introduce you to two stitches: the Tunisian knit and simple stitches. Our goal is to have you leave with the confidence to tackle your own Tunisian crochet project, and if you need additional project support, you can always come back again for Quick Help or in a Bring Your Own Project class.

Yarn + Class Materials: A skein of worsted or DK weight yarn and a Tunisian crochet hook with cable will be needed for this workshop. (Note: While you’re encouraged to bring your own needles/notions, we request that yarn used in classes be purchased at MFY.) Tunisian crochet truly highlights the beauty of hand-dyed Malabrigo Arroyo and Rios, and Cascade 220 Superwash or Encore yarns will help you see your stitches. For your hooks, we recommend Knitter's Pride Dreams Tunisian crochet hook appropriately sized to your yarn + 24" interchangeable cable.
