Gain confidence in sweater knitting by taking the process step-by-step with MFY's My First Years Basic Sweater! Conquer your fear of making a sweater by knitting a basic baby sweater with us during BYOP class times convenient for your schedule! During the Sweater Picking Up Sleeves Workshop we'll walk you through the creation of a top-down, seamless sweater worked in the round from the successfully split sleeves and completed body (note: not necessary to have completed your body!), and demonstrate two ways for picking up your sleeves using both DPNs or magic loop methods, and how to decrease your sleeves into the sweater cuff.

Prerequisites: Knit, purl, knitting in the round
- Yarn + Class Materials: My First Years Basic Sweater Pattern, worsted weight yarn, US 5 and 7 16" circular needles, US 5 and 7 6" DPN needles (or preferred needle for small circumference knitting)
- Nice to Haves: Those Stitch Holders, Cable Toggles
- Homework: Complete My First Years Basic Sweater Pattern following size 6 month worsted weight yarn through splitting for sleeves.
