- Description
Entrelac's resulting woven look is created by knitting a diamond pattern of picked up stitches attached to their neighbors through simple decreases. Though you can certainly get a beautiful texture with a single color yarn, the technique shines when paired with yarns with longer color runs. In this 90-minute workshop, we'll help you level up your knitting by giving you the confidence to tackle picking up stitches, turning your work, and basic decreases for your entrelac project of choice! Allison LoCicero's Entrelac Scarf is perfect for a beginner and suggests four skeins of Noro Silk Garden), but you could also use two skeins and seam the ends together for a cowl. Our goal for this workshop is to have you leave with the confidence to start your first entrelac project knowing you have the skills to tackle this new technique! And fear not, if you run into some questions along the way you can always come back again for Quick Help or in a Bring Your Own Project class.
