Leaf Wrap KAL: Spring 2023
The Leaf Wrap is an all over lace design and a versatile layering piece to add to your wardrobe. With a 16-row repeat, the wrap is also easily customized to fit your personal style. Designed in Woolstok Light - a fingering weight 100% Fine Highland Wool - the project calls for six hanks as written. The sample was knit in the color Earth Ivy and at the listed gauge finished at 16" x 81". Each repeat adds approximately 13.5" (all dependent on your personal gauge).
We have Leaf Wrap kits in the original colorway, as well as plenty of all 27 colors of Woolstok Light in stock and ready for you! Including the new Spring/Summer colors! We say it every time, but you truly cannot go wrong. This wrap will look amazing no matter which color you choose!
In addition to your yarn, you will need a US 6 (4mm) size circular knitting needles with at least a 24" cable (or size needed to obtain gauge) and a tapestry needle.
This is a great project for intermediate knitters, but beginners should not be deterred! The lace pattern introduced in this pattern repeats, does not require many individual techniques and is easy to learn. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn to knit lace with confidence, and we have tutorials to help you along the way!
The pattern is available on the Blue Sky Fibers website and Ravelry. The event runs from April 3rd through May 31st.
