Welcome to the Hygge Shawl Knit Along (KAL)!

The Hygge Shawl KAL features Malabrigo Caprino and the gorgeous design by Jill Tamminen! The shawl calls for three colors of Caprino and uses stripes of stockinette and garter stitch to create an eye catching accessory full of texture and movement!

Pattern

The pattern will be emailed to all registered participants as we near the cast on date of September 18th. 

Materials

You will need six total skeins of Malabrigo Caprino to complete this project to the stated gauge and dimensions. The sample in the pattern was knit using two skeins each of: Pearl, Pascal and Neverland. 

There are 10 new colorways available on Caprino and each one was created with depth, movement, and personality. Pair with another colorway or let them shine on their own! These colors open a world of possibilities! Learn more and see each color individually on Malabrigo's blog.

Want to put together your own color palette? We have lots of beautiful Malabrigo Caprino in stock to choose from. Find the colors that speak to you and create a custom shawl that shows off your personality! Need help deciding? Our team loves to play with colors and would be happy to assist! 

In addition to your yarn, you will need US 6 (4.0mm) circular needles with 40" cord to accommodate all of the stitches and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends. Gauge is not critical for a shawl, but if you are looking to have a similar sized wrap to the pattern, please note that you may need a different size needle to obtain the stated gauge.

We’ll be giving away weekly prizes, randomly drawn from our list of registered participants. 

How to participate: To be eligible, simply complete the registration form above and share a photo of your project on social media using the hashtag #MalabrigoKAL.

Please note: To qualify for prizes, your project must use the featured Malabrigo yarn for this KAL.

How winners are selected: Winners are chosen at random using a randomizing app from among the registered users. After that, our team verifies that all requirements have been met by checking the social media handles provided during sign-up. If a selected winner doesn’t meet the criteria, a new winner will be drawn until all spots are filled.
