Welcome to the Heirloom Sampler Blanket knit along hosted by our friends at Rowan! This blanket includes a beautiful collection of motifs inspired by classic cross stitch designs that are ideal for learning or refining your colorwork skills. Not to mention you'll complete a gorgeous throw that will be cherished for generations to come!

Over eight weeks you’ll journey through a garden wonderland full of flora and fauna. Create blooms and bunnies, vines and chicks all in an array of colors that will bring life to any room all year long.

Supported by weekly pattern releases and helpful videos, the Heirloom Sampler Blanket KAL is suitable for all skill levels. So join in and sign-up at knitrowan.com to receive your weekly patterns. The crochet along begins April 22!

Supplies

We have kits that include all of the colors of Rowan Felted Tweed needed to craft your blanket and border.

In addition to your yarn kit, you will need US size 3 and US size 5 needles, and a tapestry needle.

About the Designer

Martin Storey is a knitwear designer with a fashion background who is known for textured designs and a bit of whimsy. In his biography on the Rowan website you will also quickly learn that he is bad at math and would have loved to have been a ballet dancer!
