I knitted a special blanket for a 4 year old child with a blood cancer. I also made her a rolled edge cap as she will lose her hair from the chemo. Turns out lavender is her favorite color. My sister-in-law asked me to knit for this child and when she presented the blanket to the Mom, the nother cried at the beauty of the blanket and the coincidence of the lavender. This dress is knitted and has buttons and embroidery for embellishments. I like how the color variegation works up. The yarn is soft and easy to work with and holds up well.
