Malabrigo has always been a good choice for vibrant, jewel tone colors. I typically use Rios, however, this design required a chunky weight. Malabrigo Chunky is so soft and bouncy. Very lovely to knit.

Great yarn! Malbrigo is the best. I made these mittens and the wind does not come thru. The first pair I made felted too small so be very watchful when felting!
I used felted alpaca mittens by Amy Loberg. Next time I will add on some washable cuffs to make them tighter at the wrist.

Love the malabrigo merino yarn! As much as I love knitting with it, I hate that every skein I have purchased has been difficult to wind. Usually a swift is helpful but all 10 skeins had to be wound by hand because of the tangles.
