About the Designer: Claire Gelder is a UK-based designer, entrepreneur, and advocate for the healing power of craft. After leaving her role as an NHS Director, she launched Wool Couture, a modern fiber brand known for its oversized tools and beginner-friendly DIY kits. Claire is also a Dragons’ Den alum and bestselling author, passionate about making knitting, crochet, macrame, and weaving accessible and joyful for everyone. She lives in Wakefield, UK.
