The Friendship Shawl is a cozy, asymmetrical shawl with squishy texture and simple lace. Stripes that transition into mesh panels provide bold style that will stand the test of time. Designed in DK weight Dos Tierras - a gorgeous, single ply blend of 50% Merino Wool and 50% Baby Alpaca - the project calls for one skein each of three coordinating colors. The final measurements are roughly 64" x 35" depending on your personal gauge.

This is a great accessory project for advanced beginner knitters, but no one should be deterred! It is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence with shaping and yarn overs on a smaller scale, and we have tutorials to help you along the way!

Our team curated kits for the Friendship Shawl that span a wide range of colors and styles. Pick your favorite or let the combinations inspire you!

We have plenty of Dos Tierras in stock to provide countless options to create your unique Friendship Shawl combination. While the pattern calls for three colors, it can be easily adapted for one, two, four or more colors! Let the colors speak to you!

In addition to your yarn, you will need a US Size 7 (4.5mm)* circular knitting needle with at least a 32" cable and a tapestry needle.

*Needle size may vary depending on your personal gauge.

Schedule

The Dos Tierras Friendship Shawl KAL is scheduled to begin March 1st and run through March 31st.
