Seeing Spots Vest KAL: October 2022
Welcome to the Malabrigo Seeing Spots Vest Knit Along (KAL)!
Welcome to the Malabrigo Seeing Spots Vest Knit Along (KAL)! This lovely pattern was designed by Afifa Sayeed, and was hand selected for this KAL during Malabrigo's Open Call for designers.
The vest is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, using two constrasting colors of Malabrigo Rios Solidos - your favorite worsted weight, 100% Superwash Merino Wool now available in solid colors! Finished sizes range from a 32" bust to 56".
We have 14 gorgeous colors of Rios Solidos in stock as well as 80+ colorways of stunning, variegated Rios. Find your perfect pairing or stop by and let us make a few suggestions! (Color image below is from Malabrigo and is not meant to reflect what Rios Solidos we have in stock.)
In addition to your yarn, you will need US 6 (4mm) and US 8 (5mm) circular knitting needles (or sizes needed to obtain gauge) with at least 32" cables, one stitch marker, a tapestry needle and scrap yarn or stitch holders.
This is a great project for intermediate knitters, but adventurous beginners should not be deterred! The techniques are all easy to learn with great transferable skills for future projects, and we have lots of tutorials to help you along the way!
You can find the pattern available on Ravelry or on the Malabrigo website.
Malabrigo will be selecting and awarding prizes and winners will be contacted by email or Instagram messages.
To be eligible for prizes you must have signed up on the Malabrigo website, be using at least one Solidos yarn and post during the KAL dates.
