Stash Dive with MFY: The Fibre Co.
Welcome to Stash Dive with MFY where we take a deeper look at the brands we carry and the hearts behind them!
What We Carry
We stock four of The Fibre Co.'s beautiful yarns: Acadia, Amble, Cirro and Road to China Light. We also carry Amble minis. The Fibre Co. yarns are very natural in process and in feel. Let's look at each one individually!
Acadia - 60% Merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 20% silk
This slightly nobby blend is a DK weight that is warm (hello wool and alpaca!) with a beautiful sheen that comes from the alpaca and silk. The yarn is kettle dyed which gives it that Fibre Co. duotone or heathered look that is so special.
Amble - 70% easy-wash Merino wool, 20% easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon
Designed with sock making in mind, this fingering weight yarn is soft and durable which makes it a great option for other garments and accessories too! The wool and alpaca add comfort while the recycled nylon provides the strength.
Cirro - 40% Suri alpaca, 40% organic cotton, 20% Merino wool
Designed with sock making in mind, this fingering weight yarn is soft and durable which makes it a great option for other garments and accessories too! The wool and alpaca add comfort while the recycled nylon provides the strength.
Road to China Light - 65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere
Inspired by the luxury textiles traded along the ancient Silk Road, this sport weight yarn has a soft halo, but boast enough definition that subtle textures are not lost! You'll love this luxurious blend in colors reminiscent of precious stones.
