Welcome to the Berroco Mystery Blanket Knit Along!

The Berroco Mystery Blanket Knit Along features twenty different square patterns that will be released throughout 2025. Each month, one or two designs will be shared with increasingly intricate and challenging techniques. Perfect for experienced knitters as well as newer knitters looking to learn new skills, there will be how-to videos shared each month as well! We are always here to assist if you get stuck on a particular square, too!

The blanket uses five colors of Berroco Vintage - a fantastic worsted weight 50% Acrylic / 40% Wool / 10% Nylon blend that is soft, durable and machine washable! With twenty 12" x 12" and borders, the final measurements will be approximately 52" x 64".

Pattern

For a personalized and unique blanket, grab an AcademicHobbyist palette tool and come shop our wide selection of Vintage! Go with tonal colors like the Berries & Cream option or go bold with five of your favorites like the Eclectic Haze! Maybe you are drawn to neutrals but want to throw in a pop of color. We love playing with colors if you need a second opinion!

The MKAL will run from January 2025 through December 2025 with patterns being released early each month. 

Community

Join in or follow all of the activity on Instagram and Facebook! There will be live check-ins on the Berroco Makers Facebook group and you are always welcome to chat in our private MFY Make Along Facebook group! We also stitch together (almost) every Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm and you are encouraged to drop in any time - we'd love to see you!

Assistance

If you want to participate but are anxious about committing to a large project or are worried about not knowing some of the techniques that may be used, we have a variety of resources available to help you throughout the process! Our instructors schedule BYOP (Bring Your Own Project) sessions as well as Quick Help times which are great opportunities to learn a new skill or navigate a particularly tricky technique.

Not local? Beginning in 2025, we will be offering Virtual Stitch Sessions with our instructor who can guide you through the steps from the comfort of your own home!

Tutorials

In addition to personalized help from our instructors, we have video tutorials online at MFY+ (our YouTube channel)! We will include links to specific videos we believe will be helpful as the patterns are released.
