Saturnalia Sweater KAL: November/December 2024

Welcome to the Blue Sky Fibers Saturnalia Sweater Knit Along!

The Saturnalia Sweater is a soft and cozy piece knit using Woolstok Light (100% Fine Highland Wool) and Prairie a blend of 53% Suri Alpaca and 47% Baby Huacaya Alpaca. Together, these two yarns create a magical garment. With the soft halo of Prairie and the stitch definition of Woolstok Light, these two yarns form the "rights" around this sweater. Packed with texture and visual interest, this piece will make a wonderful addition to your sweater collection.

Great for intermediate knitters, the sweater is a top-down raglan construction that has a lot of stretch. Participants will learn the importance of making before and after blocking swatches! There are nine sizes written into the pattern and 27 colors of Woolstok Light and 14 colors of Prairie to choose from for the perfect, unique sweater.

Pattern

The pattern is part of Blue Sky Fibers Autumn/Winter 2024 Collection and can be purchased on BlueSkyFibers.com or Ravelry. The pattern includes nine different sizes for your optimum fit.

Double pointed needles in the same sizes will also be needed for the cuffs and sleeves or whatever method you prefer for small circumferences! You'll also want to have stitch holders and stitch markers on hand as well as a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
