The pattern is Michele Wyman's "Block Party Baby Blanket." It has become the "family" baby blanket: I am knitting it for the 7th time, each time with some variation. I am currently knitting the 8th version for the brother-to-be of the baby shown on the blanket. I always use Plymouth DK weight Encore. It knits nicely, is machine washable, and is very durable. The 19-year-olds still have theirs on their beds or sofas!!
