The Oberon Hat Kit, designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn, is a beautiful introduction to cable knitting. The hat begins with a tubular cast-on and deep 1x1 ribbing before transitioning into a classic four-stitch cable and garter pattern. Fully charted and easy to memorize, the design features integrated crown decreases and offers a great opportunity for knitters to practice cabling—even without a cable needle—while creating a timeless, cozy accessory.
A printed pattern is included in the kit. The digital pattern can be purchased separately on Ravelry or Kelbourne Woolens' website.
