- Description
Memory Lane: Embellished Knits to Cherish is a heartfelt knitwear collection by designer Claudia Quintanilla that explores the deep emotional ties we can weave into the garments we create. With 19 thoughtfully designed knitting patterns, this book guides makers in turning elegant simplicity into personal heirlooms through embellishment techniques like embroidery, lace, beads, and crochet.
Inspired by Claudia’s childhood in El Salvador and her love of storytelling, Memory Lane celebrates how handmade garments can preserve our memories, whether it’s the orange trees on a grandparent’s farm or the warmth of a mother’s voice. These designs are beautiful on their own, but become extraordinary when adorned with the layers of your own story.
