I am a little disappointed in the Hot Cakes. The yarn is beautiful and the color as expected. However, the cakes were not wound the same. I pulled from the outside for the first cake (self-striping baby blanket). The next cake was wound inside out, so if I pull from the outside, the colors are in the reverse order. Two of the 4 cakes I bought are wound the same, the other two I will have to rewind to get into the correct order to have my colors flow properly. A little frustrating. I've never run into this with other cakes I've bought in the past. I realize it's not your fault, but Plymouth Yarns.
