I'm Very happy with this yarn. Very soft, doesn't split while crocheting, several pretty colors. I'm a regular user of Caron Simply Soft, and I absolutely love it. I have now added Hayfield Bonus DK to my list of favorites. I used the Sedge Stitch pattern from Daisy Farms Crafts' Sedge Stripes Baby Blanket .

This acrylic yarn I am using (Hayfield Bonus DK Extra value) for an afghan for one of my grandchildren in the colors of the college she is attending this coming fall. This yarn is for sure the best acrylic yarn that I have used in the past. I was so grateful to "stumble" on the Michigan Yarns website. I did live in MI, but live now in a different location already for a long time. Personally I love to see and feel yarn first before I buy it for a project, but the guidance I received over the phone when I contacted Michigan Yarns was excellent.
