"Akari" is a soft, worsted weight multi-fiber blend with organic silk and cotton. Translated to "light" or "glimmer" in English, a lovely worsted-weight blend of silk and cotton works great for breezy garments with beautiful drape and sheen. It is a delightful choice for knitting and crocheting multi-season garments. Use Akari Solo for single tones, Akari for tonal fades, or both for an interesting blend!
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations that cause colors to vary from skein to skein. As this is a natural part of the process, please note there may be differences between the yarn images shown and the yarn received. To counteract this, we encourage all crafters to buy enough yarn for their entire project at one time.
