The Heirloom Sampler Blanket Knit Along by Martin Storey is a beautifully curated stranded colourwork project designed to guide knitters through an elegant journey of pattern and colour. Inspired by traditional cross stitch samplers, each section introduces a new motif that reflects nature, folklore, family, and home.
Knit in Rowan Felted Tweed, this design showcases the yarn’s soft texture and rich palette, making it ideal for detailed colourwork. The blanket grows into a cohesive yet varied composition, blending intricate motifs with a harmonious overall design.
Perfect for knitters looking to explore or deepen their colourwork skills, this Knit Along offers both a meditative making experience and a meaningful finished piece. The result is a modern heirloom blanket designed to be treasured and passed down through generations.
Finished blanket measures approximately 97.5cm x 115cm / 38.5” x 45.25”
You will also need a 3¼mm (no 10) (US 3) needles for the blanket border and 3¾mm (no 9) (US 5) needles for the main part of the blanket.
