The Wellingborough Shawl is a triangular shawl combining stockinette, lace, and garter stitches, knit up in Malabrigo Sock yarn. The shawl starts with a triangle worked in a garter stitch. When the triangle is complete, stitches are picked up along the two sides and the rest of the shawl is worked top-down, one side at a time. The left and right side of the shawl is worked alternately, on separate needles. Malabrigo Sock is spun with luxurious merino wool that will take your breath away. Don't let the name fool you - while Malabrigo Sock is a delight for your feet, it's a great choice for shawls and scarves too!
