In stranded colorwork knitting, you change back and forth between different colors in your work. In this 90-minute introductory workshop, we’ll create a sample swatch that helps you feel confident with this technique, and help you plan your first stranded colorwork project. Our goal is to have you leave with the confidence to tackle a colorwork project, and if you need additional project support, you can always come back again for Quick Help or in a Bring Your Own Project class.

• Yarn + Class Materials: Three contrasting yarns with 24” or 32” circular needles of appropriate size for yarn (Note: While you’re encouraged to bring your own needles/notions, we request that yarn used in classes be purchased at MFY.) We recommend giving one of our Made for You in Woolstok hat kits a try for this class!  If you prefer wood needles, we recommend the 16" Lykke driftwood circular needles; if you prefer metal needles, we recommend the 16" ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular needles. For any double pointed needles needed for your project, we recommend these 6" ChiaoGoo DPNs.
