- Description
Gain confidence in sweater knitting by taking the process step-by-step with MFY's My First Years Basic Sweater! Conquer your fear of making a sweater by knitting a basic baby sweater with us through the MFY Sheep & Wool weekend! You can start Friday with the Sweater Yoke Workshop, and progress to the Sweater Splitting for Sleeves Workshop on Saturday, and finish up with Sweater Picking Up for Sleeves on Sunday. Or pick a slightly slower pace from our weekend options and finish up in a BYOP class as you need time. During the Sweater Splitting for Sleeves Workshop we'll walk you through the creation of a top-down, seamless sweater worked in the round from the completed yoke through two options for splitting your sweater for sleeves, to starting the body of your sweater, and describing the process for coming back to pick up your sleeves later (that last part is bonus material, if you would like more time dedicated to the sleeve portion, join us for the Picking Up for Sleeves Workshop).
