About ChiaoGoo

ChiaoGoo is part of a family-owned business - Westing Bridge, LLC - that was started by four brothers. Their father and grandfather were bamboo craftsmen in China who produced household goods, but their primary product was bamboo knitting needles! The brothers' mother was an excellent knitter and tested the needles, often making requests for special needles for whatever she was working on. The company celebrated 20 years in 2025!

The name ChiaoGoo mean "highly skillful and crafty lady" and is an ode to their mother. You can find additional details on the ChiaoGoo website. 

ChiaoGoo Products

We carry a wide variety of ChiaoGoo products. We've got classic bamboo straight needles, double pointed needles and circular needles. We carry a vast selection of fixed, steel circular needles with the popular ChiaoGoo red cable, as well as their steel double pointed needles. ChiaGoo interchangeable needle sets are also a customer favorite and we have tips, cords and accessories for these available as well!

Local Touch

Not only are ChiaoGoo's products top notch and beloved throughout the fiber arts world, but they are based out of our backyard in Troy, Michigan! The organization values giving back and interacts with all kinds of groups, programs, teams and events throughout the Midwest and beyond! You can see a long list of examples on their website!
